Immersed in the Chianti Classico wine region, this castle dating back to the 11th century is located in a restored medieval village, on a hill that offers a view of the Towers of San Gimignano and the lands of the farm where wine and oil products are made using eco-sustainable cultivation methods.
The structure, modified during the eighteenth century by changing its appearance and bringing it closer to that of a villa, has been completely renovated using eco-friendly materials and technologies while maintaining the traditional characteristics intact. Some areas – such as the stairway dating back to 1700 – who had been destroyed due to the bombings of the Second World War, have been faithfully reconstructed thanks to the use of period photographs belonging to the Daddi family, owner of the Castle since 1920.
The structure is completed by a panoramic swimming pool that overlooks vineyards and olive groves, a spa, an Italian garden and a garden of secular oaks, in which “lounges” have been created to create area entirely dedicated to relaxation.
Upon request, the entire castle can be reserved for weddings, events and special occasions.
Inside the main building there are 12 rooms – Classic, Superior and Deluxe – furnished with a refined classic taste that enhances the welcoming atmosphere of the structure. At your arrival, in each room you will find a bottle of Chianti Classico produced with the grapes of the vines that surround the castle.
Breakfast, light lunches by the pool or in the holm oak garden and dinner offer the best traditional flavors of Tuscan cuisine, with zero kilometer ingredients, and meals are accompanied by fine local wines. The hotel also organizes wine and oil tastings with the products of the farm.
