Pitiana Villa is a prestigious Historical House, built in Reggello in the XII century as a fortified medieval farm, later used by the Benedictine monks of Vallombrosa, and during the XVIII century rebuilt as a private Villa.
The property is on the top of a Tuscany hill, 430 meters above sea level, where is possible to admire a unique view, and is located a few kilometers from Florence and many other popular tourist destinations, such as Chianti, Arezzo, Siena and San Gimignano.
Villa Pitiana owes its historical charm to its variety: each room is unique, furnished in antiques, and with modern comforts. The exclusive room in the Medieval Tower, Junior suites with a view over Valdarno landscape, Superior rooms with antique furniture, Classic and standard rooms, all of them offer a various range of accommodations, comfort and prices to our guests.
Beside the rooms, Villa Pitiana wide spaces have been divided into 2-room and 3-room apartments with cooking facilities and living rooms. Apartments are offered either on self-catering or hotel-service basis.
The Restaurant menu offers traditional Tuscany food though elaborated with a contemporary taste. First quality food-stuff is mostly supplied by local producers and even by Villa Pitiana estate itself, as the extra-virgin olive oil. For wine lovers there is a cellar hosted in the most ancient part of the building, the perfect place to satisfy curiosity with food and wine matching not only while eating but also during tasting carried out daily by experienced personnel. Besides the 120 wines listed in the wine-list, many valuable wines are available in the cellar for tasting both for experts and beginners.
Villa Pitiana regularly hosts private groups and companies for meetings and weddings in different private halls, equipped with all facilities. The Villa’s staff is willing to receive requests and offer suggestions to fulfil guests’ needs.
Different rooms/halls are available for conventions, together with secretary service, adjacent rooms, refreshments inside or outside the Villa (brunch, coffee-break light lunch, gala dinner), AV aids, courtesy cars and car rental.
