Two families, one project and a 13th century building.
Located in the very heart of the city, between the Baptistery of San Giovanni and Piazza della Sala, this historical dwelling has been completely restored, but it maintains the charm of ancient times.
In 2015 by Roberto Cappellini and Nicola Giuntini, owners of two old food companies known for the quality of their products – a bakery and a coffee roasting – founded the restaurant Osteria Bonodinulla to share with customers their passion for the traditional Tuscan cuisine.
After two years of success, they were ready for the next step: Residenza Battistero, a charming boutique hotel on the upper level of the building, who awaits to welcome you for a lovely stay in Pistoia.
Just a few rooms offer an intimate and exclusive experience.
From the double rooms to the bigger suites, each one of the 13 bedroom has a peculiar style and a unique sights on the city. They all are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, a coffee machine and air conditioning.
For a special occasion, choose the Suite King Deluxe, who hides an enchanting surprise: a terrace overlooking Pistoia’s roofs with a stunning 360° panoramic view.
If you are a foodie traveller, this is your hotel. Here, the breakfast is something serious: “ a lovely rendezvous: with the city and with good food”. This is why is served in the restaurant Osteria Bonodinulla, on the ground floor of the Residence.
Everything is home-made: bread, cakes, pastries and coffee come from the families companies, while meats, cheeses and milk are chosen from the best Tuscan producers and vegetables are purchased daily from the outdoor market of Piazza della Sala.
At the restaurant, you can taste the real flavour of Tuscany: in the menu, local products and traditional recipes combine to offer you a truly exquisite experience.
